Resilient Digital Materials for Teaching and Learning: Copyright and Open Education Strategies Webinar Series
The sudden shift to online education has posed challenges for educators, especially in navigating copyright issues when sourcing digital teaching materials. To address these concerns, a comprehensive webinar series was launched, focusing on both K-12 and higher education audiences. This series provided actionable strategies and resources to help educators confidently use and create digital teaching materials.
Overview of the Webinar Series
The series was divided into two primary tracks tailored to K-12 and higher education, with additional stand-alone webinars suitable for both groups. The sessions covered a range of topics, including copyright essentials, fair use policies, and creating Open Educational Resources (OER). All webinars were recorded and are accessible on YouTube, with accompanying presentation slides for reference.
